Burnout is more than being tired
Feeling stretched past your limits, with nothing left to give
Dreading tasks that used to feel manageable
Cynicism, irritability, or emotional numbness
Trouble switching off, even when you finally have time
Headaches, tension, poor sleep, or getting sick often
Guilt whenever you try to rest or say no
You don't need a diagnosis or the "right" words to begin. If some of this feels familiar, that's reason enough to reach out.
What are you holding together that no one else sees the cost of?
If sitting with these stirred something, that feeling is worth listening to. You don't need to have the answers to begin — therapy is simply a place to explore them, gently and at your pace. Book a free consultation →
Whole-person care — mind, emotion & body
Burnout is a whole-system depletion — mind, emotions, and body together. We draw together evidence-based and experiential approaches, always at a pace that feels safe — because lasting change happens when the whole of you is included.
Thoughts & patterns
Working with the thoughts, beliefs, and patterns that keep you stuck — building practical skills for clarity and choice, drawing on CBT, DBT, and ACT.
Feelings & parts of you
Turning toward what you feel, and the different parts of you, so emotion becomes something you can understand and move through — drawing on EFT and IFS.
Nervous system & body
Chronic stress keeps the nervous system in overdrive; somatic work helps it finally downshift and recover. We include body-based, nervous-system work because change has to be felt, not just understood.
Burnout, seen whole
Burnout is often treated as a failure of stamina — as though you simply need to push through. We see the opposite: a signal from the whole of you that a limit has been reached and long overridden. The exhaustion isn't weakness; it's your system finally insisting on what it has needed all along.
Burnout isn't a lack of strength. It's the whole of you refusing to keep running on empty.
For a long time, one thing fills the foreground — the next task, the next demand, what everyone else needs. Rest, hunger, tension, the body's quiet signals slip into the background until they can't be heard. A holistic lens brings the whole picture back: not just the depleted output, but the person, the pace, and everything that's been asked of them.
Burnout deepens in the gap between what your body is telling you and what you allow yourself to act on. Silencing the fatigue, treating your own needs as negotiable, pushing past every limit — that effort is precisely what wears the system down.
Recovery begins not by managing your time better, but by turning back toward yourself — noticing, in the present, what you actually feel and need, and letting it matter again. As the balance between giving and restoring is repaired, energy has room to return.
How we help with stress & burnout
We begin by helping your system come out of survival mode — because you can't reflect clearly while you're still running on adrenaline. Paying attention to the present moment, we notice together where the depletion lives: the boundaries that quietly eroded, the "shoulds" you've been carrying, the tension your body braces with. Awareness like this is the first real step out of the cycle.
From there we work on what's yours to change — reclaiming choice, rebuilding boundaries, and reconnecting with what actually restores you. We move at a pace that respects how depleted you are, never adding another demand. The goal isn't only to recover, but to build a way of living and working your nervous system can sustain.
Real recovery is more than a vacation you'll burn through in a month. It's a changed relationship with demand — clearer limits, restored energy, and a sense of agency over your time. Clients often describe feeling like themselves again, and finding a pace they can actually keep.
