Nadia Stolpner
Somatic, mindfulness-based, and holistic psychotherapy for adults — meeting you in the places where talk alone cannot reach.
Nadia Stolpner is a Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist offering somatic, mindfulness-based, and holistic therapy for adults. With 17 years of experience, she meets clients in the layered places where thinking, feeling, and embodiment intersect.
She completed her Master of Social Work at the University of Toronto and has spent nearly two decades cultivating an integrative practice grounded in psychodynamic warmth, mindfulness, and the body's own intelligence. Beyond traditional talk therapy, she holds advanced training in somatic therapy, dance/movement therapy, authentic movement, sensory awareness, and mindfulness-based approaches (MBSR & MBCT) — a rare clinical foundation.
For eight of those years, Nadia's clinical home was a college counselling services centre, where she supported a remarkably diverse population across the spectrum of mental wellness, neurodivergence, and cultural background. That breadth shaped a clinician known for attuned presence, unconditional positive regard, and a quiet conviction that healing is already underway in every client who walks through the door.
Her practice is integrative, collaborative, and profoundly individualised — no two clients receive the same therapy. Much of the work begins with reconnection: gently turning toward your own inner experience, becoming aware of long-held patterns, and discovering the needs that have been waiting to be heard. Over time, this supports transforming the survival patterns that no longer serve you — and stepping into a fuller expression of your authentic self.
Body-based and contemplative — rarely combined.
Somatic Therapy & Body Wisdom
For clients who sense that healing must reach beyond words, Nadia offers a body-based pathway — somatic therapy, mindfulness, and dance/movement therapy that meet you where talk alone cannot. Working somatically means learning to listen, soften, and allow the nervous system its own path back to regulation and ease.
Mindfulness & Expressive Arts
Drawing on MBSR, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, and expressive arts, Nadia weaves contemplative practice into clinical work — tools that extend the therapy hour into daily life. For clients curious to explore non-verbal pathways, movement, image, and creative expression become additional languages for the deeper self.
17 Years, Profoundly Individualised
Nearly two decades across college counselling and integrative practice, with diverse, neurodivergent, and cross-cultural populations. Nadia draws fluently from CBT, DBT, solution-focused, and narrative therapy — bringing the right tool to each moment rather than forcing one approach onto every client.
Holistic and individualised.
No two clients receive the same therapy. Nadia shapes each session to who you are — your pace, your readiness, the questions life is asking — holding that beneath every struggle there is a place within us that is already whole.
